String Thing Music Spring Recital ‘08

Well there you have it, all the performers of String Thing Music “Spring Recital ‘08”. What a great show. The next recital is under six months from now so mark your calendars for Sunday December 7th 2008, String Thing Music’s “Winter Recital ‘08”.

I want to thank all the students for their effort and hard work in preparing for this recital. Your reward is the joy you bring to yourself and others as you perform and enjoy your music. Music is a life-long pursuit. My continual prayer is that your lives will forever be enriched by your musical experiences. As always a special thank you to the parents, and those who support these fine musicians in their musical studies.

Extra Special Thanks To:

Mr. Laliberte and the Moultonborough Central School for the use of the schools cafeteria and, Lisa Young for all her efforts in keeping me sane; www.LisaYoungBand.com.

Next we have the “Meetin’ on Monday Parlor Band” with Jeannie on guitar, Don on mandolin, Angela on fiddle, and John on bass guitar presenting a wonderful rendition of Larry Unger’s “Judy and Jim’s Wedding”.

And closing the show was the jazz group “Trish and the Doctors of Jazz” with Sarah on flute, Michael on sax, Dave on upright bass, Trish on vocals, and yours truly on guitar with an original arrangement of the spiritual “Poor Wayfaring Stranger”.
